Great piece, I have always been a tech enthusiast and did some coding when I was in my teens. What held me back from pursuing a career in it was that I thought you needed be a mathematical genius. I didn’t have that kind of background. Ones you start learning to code it can feel very empowering because you learn that you are capable of way more than you think.

Still have a long way to go. But, I really enjoy the learning aspect of development. I am 34 now and switched careers 1.5 years ago and hope to be continue growing in this interesting space to work in.

amazing read, thanks for that! especially liked this 7. Help people where they are point - it's crucial to know where people want to be contacted, what are their specific needs and expectations (while at the same time balancing it with one-to-many approach)
